Fire

Center Township fire service is owned and operated under a joint agreement with the Village of Lisbon and Elkrun Township.

This agreement saves the residents tax dollars by pooling resources and tax dollars. It also allows the three entities to provide a professionally ran fire department that can recruit members from a broader area.

Center Township trustees also contract with Hanover Township Fire Department for the western sections of the township, which provides a closer response time for these residents.
