Guilford Lake State Park Naturalist Programs Summer 2023

All programs are subject to change. Notify the naturalist if special accommodations are needed for your participating children. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Friday, August 11

Campfire Storytime

• 8:00pm - 9:00pm

• Join us a for a campfire and Nature themed story. All are welcome. Meet at the Campground Amphitheater.

Saturday, August 12

Birders Hike

• 6:00pm - 7:00pm

• Join us for a birdwatching hike along the Educational Trail. All are welcome.

• Meet at the Campground Amphitheater.

• Water, appropriate hiking footwear and attire, walking stick, and binoculars are all recommended.

Friday, August 18

Sunset Kayaking

• 7:00pm - 8:30pm

• Enjoy a Naturalist guided kayak tour around scenic Guilford Lake and take in the sunset from the Kayaks and equipment will be provided, but you may bring your own if preferred.

- It is recommended to register ahead of time as spots are limited. You can register by calling 330-222-1712.
