Friday, August 18 Sunset Kayaking 7:00pm - 8:30pm Enjoy a Naturalist guided kayak tour around scenic Guilford Lake and take in the sunset from the Kayaks and equipment will be provided, but you may bring your own if preferred. - It is recommended to register ahead of time as spots are limited. Whereas the Ohio Legislature has enacted deregulation (Senate Bill #3) which authorizes legislative authorities of municipal corporations, townships and counties to aggregate the retail electrical loads located within the respective jurisdictions and enter into service agreements to facilitate for those loads, the purchase and sale of electricity ("Governmental Aggregation") As such this measure was placed on the ballot to the voters of Center Township and passed May 04, 2010. This ballot measure is a "Opt-out program" which places all residents and small businesses in the program, who are NOT currently under an aggregation agreement contract. This aggregation program will notify all residents and businesses who fall under the program prior to the start of each township contract of the rate and how to "Opt-out" if you do not wish to participate. What is electric aggregation? Under governmental aggregation, township trustees bring the township population together to gain group buying power for the purchase of competitively priced electricity from an electric supplier certified by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio. Center Township residents and small businesses may opt-in or opt-out as they wish.
